After obtaining degrees in Criminology, Sociology, and Psychology and working in Ireland, Tim's yearning for his African roots led him back to his continent. An intense desire to immerse himself in the natural world drove him to the 'Bush Academy' near the Botswana border. Here, he delved into the art of safari guiding, honing skills that would become the cornerstone of his career.

Tim's journey continued with stints in prestigious lodges like Kapama Lodge and Sabi Sabi, where he cultivated his expertise in open vehicle safaris, guided bush walks, and wildlife encounters. A thirst for knowledge and a commitment to excellence led him to diverse experiences, from working in Dubai to spending time at Moholoholo, enriching his understanding of nature and wildlife.

Returning to KwaZulu-Natal armed with qualifications and a wealth of experience, Tim Brown Tours was born.
