Stand on the edge of dramatic cliffs at Cape Point, the most south-westerly outcrop of Africa. As we travel along breathtaking coastal drives under granite cliffs, you’ll be captivated by the endless waters stretching before you. Marvel at the world-renowned Boulders Penguin Colony, where adorable African Penguins reside.

Your guide and host, Jim, will expertly lead you through the history, culture, nature, and wine of the region in English and Swedish. A native of Cape Town, Jim’s profound love for South Africa led him to become a qualified tourist guide, eager to share his passion for his country and its people. We take it easy and go at a relaxed pace, allowing you to savor every moment. We call it “Going Slowly” – an opportunity to truly immerse yourself, appreciate the sights, and embrace the essence of South Africa.

ARRANGEMENTS

Duration: 8 hours 30 minutes

When: Seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Closed on the days of the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon and Half marathon, Christmas day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and Easter Weekend.

Where: We collect and drop off across the Greater Cape Town and Winelands area. We can collect you and drop you off at where you are staying. Please enter your address when making your reservation. We can also drop you off at another address after the tour. (We need to be notified of any baggage to be included in the vehicle.)

Weather: We are not weather dependant. We guide in all weather conditions.

What to Wear: Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. In summer, dress to keep cool, and in winter a sweater is recommended. Comfy walking shoes. Sun hat.

Things to Bring: Camera, Sunglasses, Binoculars, An inquisitive mind.

Guests or Spectators: All tours are Private. Only paying individuals are allowed on tour.

 

INCLUSIONS

  • Entrance fees.

  • Guiding by a private certified South African tour guide and winemaker.

  • Bottled water, map and program.

  • Includes collection and drop off across much of the greater Cape Town and Winelands area.


 

EXCLUSIONS

  • Meals, curios and other possible purchases for your own account. (Lunch is calculated at approx. R 120-280 pp excluding drinks.)

  • All insurances are the guest's own responsibility.


 

Private tour: There is no mixing of other people in your group. The guide and the bus are exclusively yours.
